Two big changes have and are going to be involved with this EP.

First this EP was originally intended to be the last thing I record before I leave Memphis for another city that I have yet to decide on. I have always felt like I was the outsider, even in my own group of friends although they don't agree with me. I especially felt like that in a musical sense, though we have more often than not similar tastes in music I rarely saw my friends at my shows. The music that I write and listen to is not really what my friends listen to on a regular basis. So one of the big inspirations for these two songs was to write my style of music in a way that my friends could appreciate. These songs were also meant to be written as an ode to my friends. The second song was written for a friend who was going through a very difficult time in her then relationship. She said she had a dream that I was in that I was on stage with what sounded like a hundred guitars, and while the song didn't feature as many guitars as I would have liked I think the message got across.

The second change for this release is that Chuck Howard, the artist for our merch and debut album artwork, is an official member of the band, joining as a second guitarist as well as an artist. I have stated that my debut album would be my last "ambient" album and from that point on would further try to expand on my musical drones and textures. So this album is the transition from the older Jack The Giant Killer to the things that are more likely to come in the future.
