Probably my favorite music genre is shoegaze. The vast amounts of reverb, the wall of sound, those beautiful textures, etc. One of the first shoegaze bands I got into was none other than Slowdive. Since I first discovered them over ten years ago they have always had a very special place in my heart. So it goes without saying that I was very excited to hear about their recent reunion.

A little while ago I was trying to write some new material, but I realized what I came up with had parts that sounded like the Slowdive song "Machine Gun". I've been trying to come up with ways to make music more interesting again and someone suggested that I try to do a cover and this is the end result.

I hope you all enjoy this cover/interpretation.
